Custom R34 Duckbill for YMotorsports

We took our RND team to YMotorsports in Whittier, California to 3D scan the rear end of their R34 Skyline. The 3D scan is necessary in order to replicate the OEM curves and surfaces of the trunk. Once we processed the necessary data we began designing the duckbill in our CAD program. We used our in house CNC to machine out the prototype plug. Once the plug was cut out we prepared it for mold making. We pulled the fiberglass part from the mold and started to finalize fitment.
